During the months of June and July, the museum organizes evenings dedicated to astronomy and observing the sky through the observatory’s telescopes. The proposal also includes a picnic in the astronomical park watching the sunset. Before dinner a show is scheduled at the planetarium and after dinner, with the favor of darkness, the evening continues at the observatory pointing to the most beautiful objects in the sky of the month.
Reset the distances between us and a planet? You can, at least with your eyes!
Located in the park of the Villa, the astronomical observatory allows you to observe the main celestial objects in the sky live and “up close”. These in-depth evenings are dedicated to lovers and the curious of the genre and include observation through telescopes of a lineup of seasonal objects with guided study by museum experts. Depending on the weather conditions, the telescopes will be focused on the Hercules cluster, the double stars of the Cygnus, the Leo galaxies and many others today in the deep sky.

N.B. The kitchen is not equipped to prepare meals for people with celiac disease or people allergic to lactose.
It is sufficient to bring a mat or blanket for the picnic.
It is mandatory to book and pay online by 12:00 on the day of the event. At the time of booking, indicate directly the type of sandwich desired. Click here to book! The reference ticket is what is called the “Observatory”.
Single ticket €25 including dinner and drinks, telescope observation and guide to the constellations in the sky. The evening may be canceled if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
(€20 for children under 12)
In case of bad weather, the observation will be canceled and, in the following days, a voucher will be automatically issued to be used on another evening of the same type. In case visitors are unable to return, it will be sufficient to send an email to info@museodelbali.it on the same day of cancellation to agree on the refund of the fee.
